Every Migration Has Traps
Switching email platforms sounds straightforward until you're three hours in, half your team's calendar invites have vanished, shared drives are pointing to nothing, and your MX records are in limbo. We've migrated thousands of mailboxes across every combination of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, on-prem Exchange, and legacy IMAP providers. We know exactly where things break, and we stop them breaking.
What We Migrate
We handle Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 (and back again), on-prem Exchange to cloud, legacy IMAP providers like Rackspace or cPanel to modern platforms, tenant-to-tenant migrations for acquisitions and mergers, and mail archive migrations including PST files, Google Vault exports, and journaling archives. Every mailbox, every calendar event, every shared contact. Moved intact.
How We Do It
We use dedicated migration tools like BitTitan MigrationWiz, Google Workspace Migrate, and Microsoft's own native tooling depending on the scenario. Migrations run in the background while your team keeps working. We handle DNS cutover during a scheduled window, typically out of hours, so there's no gap in mail flow. MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are all updated and verified before we call it done.
The Things That Go Wrong (When You DIY)
Calendar invites silently break because recurring events don't translate cleanly between platforms. Shared Drive permissions get flattened, leaving half your team locked out. DNS propagation takes longer than expected and emails bounce for hours. Distribution lists and aliases get missed entirely. Mail rules and filters vanish. We've seen all of it, and we plan for all of it.
After the Migration
Once the dust settles, we verify every mailbox, run delivery tests across all domains, and confirm that delegated access, shared calendars, and mail flow rules are working exactly as they should. Your team gets a short orientation on anything that works differently in the new platform. No thick training manual, just the things they need to know.
